BUCKNER'S AMERICAN BULLDOGS

We are a small family owned kennel nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina. We have owned American bulldogs since 2002 and realized there will never be another breed for us. We believe in breeding for the betterment of this great breed . We believe that you should test your dog for any genetic defects before breeding them.Our breeding's are thought out well in advance with the selection of a male based on his temperament, working ability,linage and conformation. All of our dogs are NKC registered.Our dogs are socialized in our home and with family and friends. The American Bulldog is a highly intelligent dog,high energy dog.They know what is expected of them and will do it willingly. American bulldogs are performance animals and are their happiest doing just that, be it catching hogs, strutting around the show ring, protecting their home &family,or corralling the farm animals. They are very loyal to their family, even though they are not aggressive,but they will do what it takes if one of their family is threatened.
If you are considering adding one to your family.Please realize that this is a large breed dog who will need your time to exercise and play with and a secure place to be kept while you are away.
